Ammonium bicarbonate is a white compound with the chemical formula NH4HCO3, which appears as granular, plate-like, or columnar crystals and has an ammonia odor. Ammonium bicarbonate is a carbonate, so it must not be placed together with acid, as acid will react with ammonium bicarbonate to produce carbon dioxide, causing ammonium bicarbonate to deteriorate.
application area
1. Used as a nitrogen fertilizer, suitable for various soils, it can provide both ammonium nitrogen and carbon dioxide required for crop growth, but has low nitrogen content and is prone to clumping;
2. Used as an analytical reagent, as well as for synthesizing ammonium salts and fabric degreasing;
3. Can promote crop growth and photosynthesis, promote seedling and leaf growth, can be used as topdressing or directly applied as base fertilizer, and used as a food expansion agent;
4. Used as an advanced fermentation agent for food. When combined with sodium bicarbonate, it can be used as a raw material for leavening agents such as bread, biscuits, pancakes, and also as a raw material for foaming powdered fruit juice. Also used for blanching green vegetables, bamboo shoots, as well as pharmaceuticals and reagents;
5. Used as a buffering agent; Inflator.
